Erin Andrews Awarded $55M By Jury In Peephole Videotaping Lawsuit (Video)

Erin Andrews’s civil lawsuit against West End Partners, the franchise owner of Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University, and Michael David Barrett has come to an end.

After deliberating for six hours, a Tennessee jury awarded the FOX Sports reporter $55 million in her lawsuit over being videotaped naked in her hotel room through a peephole back in 2008.

The jury decided that Barrett, who recorded Andrews through a peephole, was 51 percent at fault and responsible for $28.05 million in damages, while the hotel company was 49 percent at fault and ordered to pay $26.750 million.

Andrews’ lawsuit against Barrett, who was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison on stalking charges, and the hotel company was for $75 million.

She publicly addressed the jury’s decision with a tweet.
