Michael Phelps is doing the necessary work to ensure his last goodbye to the Olympics will be unforgettable.
Under Armour released a new commercial starring Phelps on Tuesday, and the spot is bound to create excitement around his latest pursuit of Olympic glory this summer.
Set to The Kills’ song “The Last Goodbye,” the Phelps spot shows the type of training regimen the 30-year-old undergoes in preparation for what could be his fifth appearance at the Olympic games.

The commercial also demonstrates the difference in commitment between Olympic heroes and average Joes and Janes like us.
Phelps has won 22 Olympic medals (including 18 golds) and is looking to reinforce his title as the most decorated Olympian of all-time this summer in Rio de Janiero.
Judging from the Under Armour ad, it’s safe to say he’s well on his way to achieving this latest goal.
