Defensive end Mario Williams is one of the top NFL free agents after being released by the Buffalo Bills last week.
He could be taking his impressive talents to an AFC East rival.
Williams spent four seasons in Buffalo, tallying 43 sacks in 63 games. The former No. 1 overall draft pick is 31 years old.
The Dolphins made a major free-agent acquisition before last season when they signed Ndamukong Suh to a six-year, $114 million contract. It didn’t work out so well, though.
Miami could use an extra pass rusher after finishing T-25th in sacks and 28th in passing yards allowed per attempt last season.
