Sixth-seeded Notre Dame advanced to the Elite Eight for the second consecutive season after a stunning victory over No. 7 Wisconsin in the final minute of Friday’s Sweet 16 game.
The Fighting Irish used a few steals to go on an 8-0 run in the final 19 seconds to seal the 61-56 win.
They were quite excited after the win and almost injured coach Mike Brey during a postgame interview with CBS’ Dana Jacobson.
Brey should be fine though, especially considering the way things seem to be falling in his team’s favor lately.
The Irish face North Carolina in the Elite Eight on Sunday.
