Steve-O Of ‘Jackass’ Recalls Doing Cocaine In Bathroom With Mike Tyson

Steve-O’s days of doing drugs were no joke. Not only did the former “Jackass” star, whose real name is Steve Glover, get into some weird situations, but he also got high with some elite company.

Steve-O’s been sober for eight years, but the crazy stunt performer/comedian revealed last week in an interview with GQ that he once did cocaine with former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

According to Steve-O, the odd scene unfolded at a Hollywood Hills house party that he wasn’t invited to but showed up to with a bunch of cocaine. Tyson apparently opened the door, asked whether Steve-O had any coke and then let him in upon receiving confirmation.

“So we locked ourselves in this bathroom,” Steve-O told GQ. “So there we are, and he asked me for a cigarette while I was chopping up a bunch of blow on the counter. He rolled it back and forth between his fingers and all the tobacco fell out, and he kept doing it until nothing was left except a tube of paper connected to the cylinder. And he turned it right side up and started scooping cocaine into it, like pure cocaine. Nothing but.

“And I’m fascinated. I’m thinking that can’t work. It boiled down to the most (expletive) gripping science-fair project ever. He filled it until it was (expletive) full as (expletive). And he made it work, man. He sat there and smoked the whole deal.”

As wild as this story sounds, it isn’t all that surprising. Both Steve-O and Tyson have troubled pasts, so it’s not too difficult to comprehend the fact they did drugs together on at least one occasion.

The more interesting aspect of the story is that Steve-O insists they got really deep during their cocaine-laden discussion, which he said was their last one-on-one conversation until they were locked up in a psychiatric ward together.

“At that time in my life, I would develop Tourette’s syndrome if I was (expletive) up enough, just blurting out inappropriate (stuff). So I said to him, my exact words, “You know, Mike, I don’t have a racist bone in my body, but I like to consider myself a (racial expletive),'” Steve-O recalled, according to GQ. “(Laughs) I’ll never forget, he said, ‘You ask me, the definition of that word is anybody who uses it.’ And I was like, ‘Damn! Iron Mike, deep as (expletive)!’

“And so we’re talking about the finer points of racism in America or whatever, just sort of philosophizing about how to make the world a better place, and it was just (expletive) incredible, man. The last thing he said to me was, ‘You know, Steve, everybody’s got you wrong. You’re actually really smart.'”

Steve-O added that Tyson is “just the nicest guy,” which is funny to think when one considers his boxing reputation as the baddest man on the planet and his crazy cocaine benders alongside reality TV stars.
