The Golden State Warriors still are on track to post the best single-season record in NBA history, but they haven’t exactly looked like their dominant selves of late.
The Warriors didn’t even break 80 points in their 87-79 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, and they barely beat the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
Still, Golden State is 63-7, which means it could break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ 72-win record if it goes at least 10-2 in its final 12 games. But the first of those contest comes against a tough Los Angeles Clippers team, which certainly will try its best to play spoiler.
