Borussia Dortmund likely will end Tottenham Hotspurs’ UEFA Europa League campaign, but many at White Hart Lane won’t fret over a European exit.

The teams play Thursday in North London in the second leg of their Europa League Round of 16 series. Dortmund took a commanding lead last week in Germany with a 3-0 win, and Tottenham will be playing for little more than pride in the return leg.

Tottenham midfielders Moussa Dembele and Christian Eriksen will sit out the game as they recover from minor injuries they suffered in recent outings. Manager Mauricio Pochettino likely will rest others in an effort to preserve them for Spurs’ push for the Premier League title.

Dortmund will be without defender Sven Bender and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. Neither traveled to England, but head coach Thomas Tuchel is hoping they’ll be fit for Sunday’s Bundesliga (German first division) game against Augsburg.

Only one team has overcome a 3-0 defeat in the first leg of a knockout-round series in the Europa League. Tottenham aims to join the 2013-14 Valencia team in doing so, but it seems like too tall a task.

Here’s how to watch Tottenham vs. Dortmund online:
