World Cup of Hockey jerseysThe lead-up to the 2016 World Cup of Hockey officially began Wednesday as the eight participating teams revealed both their preliminary rosters and their tournament uniforms. For the moment, we’ll focus on the latter.

Adidas is the official uniform manufacturer of the World Cup, meaning these unis will feature a few changes from the Nike-designed sets worn during the last major international tournament, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Some of these updates are welcome (those awful shoulder patterns are gone, for example), while some might not be so well-received (Adidas’ three-stripe pattern prominently appears on every jersey, which is sure to tick off some hockey purists).

Enough with the introduction, though. Let’s take a look at these bad boys.
