BOSTON — The Red Sox are changing things up for the third game of their series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Chris Young and recent call-up Marco Hernandez are in Boston’s lineup Sunday, while Dustin Pedroia and Brock Holt get the day off. Young will play in left field and bat sixth, while Hernandez will play second base and bat ninth. Red Sox manager John Farrell said that although the Blue Jays have a righty on the mound in Aaron Sanchez, he wanted Young to start amid a recent lack of opposing left-handers.

Steven Wright is on the mound for the Red Sox looking to build upon his last great start against the Blue Jays, during which he allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings. Ryan Hanigan will catch for the knuckleballer and bat eighth, a decision Farrell said he made based on the schedule.

Here are both teams’ lineups for Sunday.
