The PGA Tour is heading back to the Lone Star State, where some of the world’s best golfers will vie for one of the sport’s oldest prizes.

The Valero Texas Open, which has been around since 1922, is back at TPC San Antonio this week, and past winners such as Jimmy Walker and Zach Johnson lead the deep field.

There are multiple good options for your daily fantasy sports golf lineup, so we’ve helped you out with our top five picks below.

Jimmy Walker
He’s the defending champion, so he knows how to win at TPC San Antonio. While he hasn’t won yet this season, Walker has six top-20 finishes, so at the very least he should be competitive this weekend.

Patrick Reed
The San Antonio native hasn’t played in the Valero Texas Open since 2013, but he arguably has been one of the most consistent players on tour this season. He has seven (!) top-10 finishes this season, so it’s just a matter of time before he wins a tournament.

Charley Hoffman
If you’re looking for an automatic top-10 finisher, Hoffman probably is your man. He never has won this tournament, but he has finished in the top 15 in nine of his 10 appearances at the Valero Texas Open.

Zach Johnson
He’s a two-time winner here, although both of his victories came before the tournament moved to TPC San Antonio. He hasn’t been playing his best golf of late, but the Texas Open might be just what he needs to turn around things.

Bryson DeChambeau
Sometimes you need to take a chance in life (and in daily fantasy sports), and DeChambeau certainly qualifies. He’s had a meteoric rise over the past two weeks after being the low amateur at the Masters. He since has turned professional and finished in a tie for fourth at the RBC Heritage. DeChambeau might just be the future of golf, but there’s no reason to wait to add him to your daily fantasy lineup.
