If you live in the Boston area, you probably remember vividly where you were on April 15, 2013.
On that day, the 117th running of the Boston Marathon was marred by a pair of bombs detonated near the finish line. Yet the city rallied in the aftermath of the tragic event, and the Boston Red Sox played a key role, starting with David Ortiz’s memorable speech in the Red Sox’s first home game since the attacks and ending in October with an improbable World Series championship.
Three years later, the memories still are fresh for Red Sox manager John Farrell. Ahead of Boston’s Patriots’ Day matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays, watch Farrell reflect on everything that transpired in the “Red Sox Gameday Live” video above.
