The most surprising name to hit the NFL free agent market just found his new home: Josh Norman is signing with the Washington Redskins, according to multiple reports.

The former Carolina Panthers cornerback was named a first-team All-Pro last season, but he couldn’t come to an agreement on a long-term contract with the team. He originally was given the franchise tag, but the Panthers shockingly rescinded that tag earlier this week, making Norman an unrestricted free agent.

The 28-year-old all but confirmed his new team with this tweet.

Norman was very excited to be going to Washington, as captured in a video he submitted to Uninterrupted.

Norman and his family were pretty happy in the wake of the new deal.
