Patriots 2016 NFL Draft Class Headlined By Cornerback, Wide Receivers

The New England Patriots 2016 NFL Draft class is complete.

The Patriots used nine draft picks and traded three times, picking up a fourth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft from the Seattle Seahawks. They currently have 85 players on their 90-man roster, leaving room for five undrafted free agents.

Second Round (60th overall): Cyrus Jones, cornerback, Alabama

Third Round (78th overall; acquired from New Orleans Saints): Joe Thuney, offensive lineman, North Carolina State

Third Round (91st overall): Jacoby Brissett, quarterback, North Carolina State

Third Round (96th overall; compensatory pick): Vincent Valentine, defensive tackle, Nebraska

Fourth Round (112th overall; acquired from Saints): Malcolm Mitchell, wide receiver, Georgia

Sixth Round (208th overall; compensatory pick): Kamu Grugier-Hill, linebacker, Eastern Illinois

Sixth Round (214th overall; compensatory pick): Elandon Roberts, linebacker, Houston

Sixth Round (221st overall; compensatory pick): Ted Karras, guard, Illinois

Seventh Round (225th overall; acquired from Seattle Seahawks): Devin Lucien, wide receiver, Arizona State
