The Chicago White Sox turned a wild triple play — their first since 2006 — Friday night against the Texas Rangers.

It all started with a catch in right field by Adam Eaton, who then fired the ball to Jose Abreu at first base. Abreu tagged Ian Desmond for the second out after he overran the base. After that, Abreu threw home, and Chicago eventually tagged Prince Fielder, who was caught in a pickle between third and home.

The play officially was scored 9-3-2-6-2-5.
