It’s all right, Boston Red Sox fans, you can exhale now. It appears Xander Bogaerts will be OK.

The shortstop will miss Saturday’s game against the Houston Astros after taking a pitch to the wrist late in Friday’s 6-2 win. But the good news is he believes he’ll avoid the disabled list and hopes to be back in the lineup Sunday.

NESN’s Guerin Austin caught up with Bogaerts and Red Sox manager John Farrell on “Red Sox First Pitch.” Check out what both had to say in the video above.
