A few people probably had that response Monday when singer/actress Bette Midler took a shot at longtime New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.

Midler’s jab isn’t the worst thing ever. Jeter’s definitely been exposed to harsher criticism over the years. Such is life when you spend 20 seasons with the Yankees and date celebrities left and right. But Midler’s roast just seems so random that it makes you scratch your head.
We wonder what Jeter’s fiancée, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis, thinks of the situation.
