Ford Motor Company and the Greater Boston Food Bank have teamed up to create a cool new way to help strike out hunger.
Ford on Friday donated a Transit van to the local food bank, which is dedicated to ending hunger in Eastern Massachusetts by distributing enough food to provide at least one full meal a day to those in need. The van comes complete with a refrigerated storage unit, which can help the Food Bank achieve its goal by effectively delivering perishable goods.
NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava visited the Greater Boston Food Bank on Friday for the unveiling process. Check it out in the video above.
