Giants Pitcher Johnny Cueto Goes Full ‘Happy Gilmore’ In Batter’s Box

The most entertaining at-bat of Thursday night’s Major League Baseball slate came courtesy of San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto.

The result of the at-bat wasn’t anything special — Cueto grounded out to third base — but it’s what happened before the right-hander made contact that made his plate appearance especially noteworthy.

Happy Gilmore would approve.

And you can’t blame Cueto for trying something new in the batter’s box. He’s a career .107 hitter who has struck out in 131 of his 235 at-bats.
