The New England Patriots are officially and legally on Team Tom Brady.
The Patriots filed an amicus brief supporting the NFL Players Association’s appeal of Tom Brady’s four-game suspension to the the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday, per court filings.
Schefter noted the last team to take legal action against the NFL was Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft said Tuesday he hopes his quarterback prevails in the appeal.
