When you beat your buddies in golf or make a hole-in-one, that usually means drinks are on them. But Will Wilcox hit the shot of the day Friday on TPC Sawgrass’ famous par-3 17th hole, and he still bought a round of celebratory round of adult beverages for an unsuspecting group at The Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Wilcox’s ace was the first on the hole known for its anxiety-inducing island green since Miguel Angel Jimenez did it in 2002.

As you can see in the video, Wilcox did plenty of celebrating on the tee afterward. And he continued the party afterward when he bought a round of beer for media members, too.

Post-round beers for the media after a hole-in-one aren’t anything new on the PGA Tour, and it sounds like a pretty good tradition to keep going.
