The Boston Celtics reportedly will meet with Dwight Howard once NBA free agency opens this Friday. But it does not sound like the Houston Rockets big man is at the top of their offseason wish list.

Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reported Wednesday that the Celtics are not planning an “aggressive pursuit” of Howard, who turned down a $23.2 million player option with the Rockets to become a free agent.

Howard, who is coming off one of the least productive seasons of his career, reportedly plans to meet with as many as five teams, including the Celtics and Atlanta Hawks.
