Patriots Training Camp 2016: New England Announces Date Of First Practice

The New England Patriots conclude their offseason workout program Thursday, and the countdown to training camp officially begins.

The Patriots will report for training camp July 27. The first practice, which is free and open to the public, will be held July 28 on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots also announced they will hold joint practices with the New Orleans Saints on Aug. 9 and 10 before their preseason matchup Aug. 11. Those practices also will be free and open to the public.

The Patriots previously announced they will hold joint practices with the Chicago Bears on Aug. 15 and 16 before their preseason matchup Aug. 18.

The Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony for Kevin Faulk will be held Aug. 1, the same night as the annual practice inside Gillette Stadium, which is open to Foxboro residents and season-ticket holders.
