If the Cleveland Cavaliers stand any chance of winning the NBA Finals, they’re going to need to figure out how to utilize Kevin Love against the Golden State Warriors.

Then again, he’ll have to be playing for them to do that. Fortunately for them, it appears there’s a good chance he’ll do so.

ESPN’s Cavaliers beat writer Dave McMenamin reported Tuesday that Love is “optimistic” that he’ll return to the court in Game 3 of the NBA Finals after suffering a concussion in the second quarter of Game 2.

The freak incident occurred when Warriors forward Harrison Barnes inadvertently hit Love in the back of the head while leaping for a rebound.

The Cavaliers officially listed Love as “questionable” Tuesday. Golden State, the defending champions, lead the series two games to none.
