UFC Fight Night Ottawa Results: Stephen Thompson Dispatches Rory MacDonald

It started out slow, but after 25 minutes, the speed and awkward style of Stephen Thompson overwhelmed Rory MacDonald as “Wonderboy” cruised to a unanimous decision win (50-45, 50-45, 48-47) at UFC Fight Night Ottawa on Saturday.

MacDonald wasn’t able to land a single takedown, and Thompson out-struck MacDonald 124-61 and 109-59 in significant strikes. The win for Wonderboy brings his win streak to seven in a row, the longest active streak in the welterweight division.
