Belichick trump editThe Republican National Convention kicks off Monday, and nominee Donald Trump officially will become the party’s candidate for president.

The boisterous Trump is expected to have some high-profile names on his speaking list in Cleveland, despite athletes such as Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Tim Tebow already turning him down.

Those NFL quarterbacks aren’t the only three sports figures who support Trump, though. In fact, several athletes and coaches have come out in support of Trump during his presidential campaign, including none other than New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan.

Belichick hasn’t publicly endorsed Trump, but he has appeared in pictures with his “good friend,” according to the Instagram caption on a photo posted by Belichick’s girlfriend, Linda Holliday. Ryan, on the other hand, has appeared at a Trump rally and introduced the presidential hopeful.

Outside football, Trump might be the only thing the rival AFC East coaches have in common.
