Bruins Development Camp Roster: Malcolm Subban Will Attend; Zach Senyshyn Likely Out

The Boston Bruins on Wednesday announced a roster of 26 prospects expected to attend the team’s 2016 development camp, which will be held from July 12 to 15 at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass.

Some observations:

— All six 2016 Bruins draft picks will be there: defenseman Charlie McAvoy (first round, 14th overall), center Trent Frederic (first round, 29th), defenseman Ryan Lindgren (second round, 49th), left wing Joona Koppanen (fifth round, 135th), defenseman Cameron Clarke (fifth round, 136th) and center Oskar Steen (sixth round, 165th).

— Goaltender Malcolm Subban will attend after undergoing surgery in February to repair a fractured larynx — an injury that cut short his 2015-16 season. He’s one of four goalies participating, joining Zane McIntyre, Daniel Vladar and Stephen Dhillon. Dillon is the only player attending camp on an invite basis.

Subban is the lone player on this list with NHL experience, making one appearance for the Bruins during the 2014-15 season.

— McIntyre, who spent last season in Providence, will take part in development camp for a record seventh consecutive year.

— Fans in attendance — development camp practices are open to the public — won’t see Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson, as the 19-year-old center “(will) not attend due to school, family and travel commitments,” the team announced.

Forsbacka-Karlsson, the 45th overall pick in the 2015 draft, is coming off a freshman season at Boston University in which he tallied 10 goals and 20 assists and earned Hockey East All-Rookie honors.

— Winger Zach Senyshyn is another likely no-show. The 2015 first-round pick is suffering from mono, per the Bruins, and isn’t expected to join his fellow B’s prospects in Wilmington.

Senyshyn put up gaudy numbers for the Sault-Ste. Marie Greyhounds last season, finishing tied for fifth in the Ontario Hockey League with 45 goals to go along with 20 assists.

Here is the full roster of players expected to attend:

Forwards: Jack Becker, Anders Bjork, Jake DeBrusk, Ryan Donato, Ryan Fitzgerald, Trent Frederic, Jesse Gabrielle, Danton Heinen, Cameron Hughes, Joona Koppanen, Sean Kuraly, Mark Naclerio, Oskar Steen

Defensemen: Brandon Carlo, Cameron Clarke, Matt Grzelcyk, Emil Johansson, Jeremy Lauzon, Ryan Lindgren, Charlie McAvoy, Wiley Sherman, Jakob Zboril

Goaltenders: Stephen Dhillon, Zane McIntyre, Malcolm Subban, Daniel Vladar
