David Ortiz Waves Goodbye To Anaheim, Site Of Some Big Playoff Success

David Ortiz’s farewell tour hits a stadium he knows all too well Thursday night.

The Boston Red Sox visit the Los Angeles Angels for a four-game set in Anaheim, where Big Papi has played 51 regular-season games, hitting just .204 with 11 home runs and 29 RBI. But Ortiz will fondly remember Angel Stadium for his postseason success there. He has played five playoff series — one with the Minnesota Twins and four with the Red Sox — against the Angels and won three of them, with big hit after big hit coming in Anaheim, much to the locals’ chagrin.

NESN.com’s Rachel Holt, in conjunction with Foxwoods Resort Casino, helps Big Papi say goodbye to Anaheim. Check it out in the video above.
