Did Jarrett Jack Troll Nets After They Replaced Him With Jeremy Lin?

The timing was absolutely perfect.

Jarrett Jack, who was waived Thursday by the Brooklyn Nets, dropped a very vague tweet Friday morning that sent the Internet into a frenzy.

Seems harmless, right? Well, not exactly.

While it’s entirely possible Jack was tickled by something else, many NBA fans immediately assumed the veteran point guard was responding to Brooklyn reportedly agreeing to a three-year, $36 million contract with point guard Jeremy Lin (aka his replacement). The Lin news broke literally minutes before Jack’s silly Twitter outburst.

Jack soon realized his mistake. Or attempted to play damage control.

Either way, we’re feeding into the dumb stuff. Because why not?
