Nate Diaz and Justin Bieber are cool now. But it wasn’t always this way.
Bieber took a jab at Diaz on social media back in March after the mixed martial artist defeated Conor McGregor at UFC 196. The shot didn’t sit well with Diaz, who later joked about smacking Bieber (a big McGregor fan), both on social media and during an interview with “Extra.”
It didn’t take long for Diaz and Bieber to end their rivalry, as each posted a selfie of them together a couple of weeks after Bieber’s first critique. And now we know exactly how the beef was squashed.
Diaz appeared on Tuesday night’s episode of “Conan” and explained that Bieber reached out to him while the two were at the same Los Angeles club. They ended up chatting and the rest is history.
Diaz and McGregor are scheduled to have a rematch next month at UFC 202. Regardless of the result, Bieber might want to keep his post-fight thoughts to himself considering he already dodged a bullet once.
