NBA Rumors: Dwyane Wade-Heat Relationship On Rocks; Other Teams Lining Up

Dwyane Wade has spent all 13 of his NBA seasons with the Miami Heat, a fact that’s made even more impressive by the constant changing of teams that’s prevalent in today’s NBA.

However, it’s starting to sound like a divorce between the two sides is a very real possibility.

Some have assumed all along that Wade is just doing the dance and would end his free-agency flirtation and return to Miami. However, things are getting progressively uglier, and a return to South Beach is no slam dunk, according to Miami Herald columnist Ethan J. Skolnick.

Despite reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers had interest in reuniting Wade with LeBron James, it looks as if that’s no longer an option, according to Skolnick.

However, there’s growing interest from other teams across the NBA. The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski gave this Wade update Wednesday morning:

Wade reportedly had a two-year deal worth more than $50 million from the Denver Nuggets, but don’t rule out the Chicago Bulls, according to Wojnarowski.

If the Heat are to salvage the situation, they might have one final chance to do so Wednesday, as Wade could meet with Heat owner Micky Arison, per Wojnarowski. But as of Wednesday morning, no meeting had been scheduled.
