New England Patriots veteran players aren’t required to report to training camp until Wednesday, but a fair number of them already have arrived in Foxboro.

A team-posted video showed several prominent Patriots veterans — including quarterbacks Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo, running back LeGarrette Blount, tackle Nate Solder and safety Duron Harmon — running through drills Monday on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium.

Blount, Solder and Harmon all were absent from organized team activities and minicamp earlier this offseason. Harmon can be seen in the video wearing a red non-contact jersey.

Joining those select vets on the field were New England’s rookies, who reported to camp Sunday. Monday was their first practice with the team.

Brady, of course, will miss the first four games of the regular season as punishment for Deflategate. He’s allowed to fully participate in training camp and the preseason, however, and the team’s management of his and Garoppolo’s reps will be one of the more intriguing storylines to watch this summer.
