It’s baaaack!

All was relatively calm on the Deflategate front, but the underinflated football scandal reentered the news cycle in a big way Wednesday when the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals denied a petition by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to have his four-game suspension reheard en banc.

This doesn’t mean the drama is over. Brady still can take his case to the Supreme Court, and he probably will. But it’s looking more and more like Brady will be forced to miss four games and that Jimmy Garoppolo will open the 2016 season as New England’s starting quarterback.

The internet reacted accordingly.
