UFC 200 Weigh-In Results: Miesha Tate Makes Deadline; Johny Hendricks Misses Weight

The biggest event in UFC history hasn’t come without drama during fight week, so it was only fitting that the weigh-in for Saturday’s mega-card was filled with plenty of its own.

Women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate just barely made her weigh-in time, which was earlier than normal because of a new rule allowing fighters a longer period to re-hydrate.

She made the cutoff and weight, though, and not a moment too soon.

Johny Hendricks wasn’t so lucky. The 32-year-old welterweight was on time for his weigh-in at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but he missed weight by .25 pounds, coming in at 171.25. By missing weight, he forfeits 20 percent of his purse.

Anderson Silva, who is replacing Jon Jones on short notice in a light heavyweight championship bout against Daniel Cormier, was well under his target weight.
