A new era started in WWE this week, and the main event takes place Sunday night at WWE Battleground.
The much-anticipated Raw-Smackdown Live brand split happened this week with the return of the draft Tuesday night, which saw WWE champion Dean Ambrose and John Cena head to Smackdown, while Raw selected Ambrose’s former Shield partners Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
Ambrose successfully defended his title two times this week, although one match ended in controversy, but Rollins and Reigns hope to end his reign Sunday night in the main event at WWE Battleground. But that’s far from the only big match scheduled for the important pay-per-view.
