Unless you’ve paid absolutely no attention to the Olympics over the last year or so, you’re already familiar with the problems surrounding the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Olympics start Wednesday — even though the opening ceremony is Friday — and in addition to Zika virus and ocean water that has human crap in it, the lodging also is a huge health issue for athletes.

Dallas Mavericks center Andrew Bogut, who’s competing for the Australian men’s basketball team, tweeted his displeasure Monday.

Bogut had a few more thoughts on the subject.

Expect plenty more of these tweets and pictures, accompanied by the #IOCLuxuryLodging hashtag, over the next two weeks.
