The Alabama Crimson Tide, much like the New England Patriots, have entered many seasons over the last decade as the favorites to be the last team standing as champions.
That’s the case entering the 2016 college football season. The Crimson Tide are the favorites among many media members, fans and Las Vegas oddsmakers to win the College Football Playoff and claim back-to-back national championships.
The Crimson Tide’s path to another title won’t be easy, though. The SEC schedule, as always, will be a tough challenge, with games against ranked opponents such as LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee and USC. Anything can happen on Saturdays, so Alabama should watch out.
