Former Yankees Prospect Destroys His Car’s Windshield With Home Run Shot

Gateway Grizzlies outfielder Brandon Thomas smashed his windshield in Sunday night’s baseball game, but if you ask him, he’d do it all over again.

The Grizzlies won 17-6, but Thomas might have to call up Safelite after hitting a grand slam. For the former New York Yankees prospect to hit the car, it took quite a shot.

Many baseball fans know it’s generally a bad idea to park close to the field, but the odds of hitting a car –particularly your own — more than 400 feet away are pretty slim.

Thomas’ insurance premium might go up, but so did his season home run total, which is now at 11.
