The 2016 deadline didn’t feature as many blockbusters as in recent years — yes, Chris Sale still is with the Chicago White Sox — but there still was plenty of drama, as several teams made significant moves to change their fortunes ahead of the final stretch.

Now, one obvious question remains: Which teams improved and which clubs actually got worse?

With the deadline in the books, let’s take a look at the biggest winners and losers of MLB’s trade season. One team somehow managed to fall into both categories.
