Chris Young’s return has made the Boston Red Sox’s outfield a bit more crowded.

Young was activated from the Red Sox’s 15-day disabled list Monday, and he’ll get right to work as Boston’s No. 7 hitter and starting left fielder against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field.

Rookie sensation Andrew Benintendi, of course, has taken over as the team’s starting left fielder during the past two weeks, and he’ll shift over to center field Monday and bat eighth. That means a night off for Jackie Bradley Jr., who has played in all but five of Boston’s games this season.

Travis Shaw also will take a seat, as Aaron Hill gets the start at third base, batting eighth. Sandy Leon is batting sixth and will catch for Red Sox starter David Price, who is aiming for his third consecutive win. Price’s former club will counter with another left-hander in Blake Snell.

Here are lineups for Monday’s Red Sox-Rays game.
