NASCAR on NBCÂ reporter, and former “Top Gear USA” presenter, Rutledge Wood is used to covering racing. But in July he made the trip down to Rio de Janeiro to contribute to NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Since the games didn’t start until Wednesday, however, Wood had to find ways to keep himself entertained in the meantime.
Because when you’re in Brazil it only makes sense to spend your time in what looks like a Walmart, dancing to Beyonce and buying gummy bears.
Hopefully another network picks up the rights to “Top Gear USA,” because only getting to see Wood act like a goof during NASCAR coverage just doesn’t cut it.
