James Harrison and the NFL won’t exactly be sending each other Christmas cards this holiday season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker already faces a suspension if he doesn’t comply with the league’s interview requests regarding an Al-Jazeera report linking him to performance-enhancing drugs.
Which makes it all the more peculiar that the NFL apparently selected Harrison for a “random” drug test Tuesday morning.
Harrison posted a Facebook video reacting to these developments, and he laid the sarcasm on nice and thick.
Harrison clearly is in utter shock and awe that the league decided to test him out of the blue. Or, he’s well aware the NFL would come after him, considering how outspoken he’s been about the league and commissioner Roger Goodell.
If the 38-year-old ends up getting suspended by the NFL, it appears he’ll go down swinging.
