Yet another incredibly successful WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon is in the books.

Thanks to incredibly generous gifts from viewers and listeners all across the country, NESN, WEEI and the Jimmy Fund teamed up to raise more than $3.5 million over the course of two days at Fenway Park.

That’s obviously a huge amount of money not only for funding cancer research but also for helping make life easier for children and families battling cancer. The money also helps brighten days, as it funds trips such as the Jimmy Fund’s annual visit to Boston Red Sox spring training in Fort Myers, Fla.

Of course, the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber also work relentlessly the other 363 days of the year in their quest to end cancer, and they still need your help. You can continue to help by giving a gift, which you can do by clicking here.
