A young Boston Red Sox fan sprouted into a hero in one of the oldest venues in Major League Baseball.

The fan, who we speculate is around nine or 10 years old, caught a foul ball Tuesday at Fenway Park during the Red Sox’s loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Matt Duffy fouled off a pitch early in the contest, and the fan snared it in his glove — just a moment before it hit an older fan — perhaps the boy’s dad — seated next to him.
