The Boston Bruins began their on-ice training camp sessions Friday, and fans will be happy to know that Torey Krug and David Krejci were in attendance.

Both Krug (right shoulder) and Krejci (left hip) underwent surgeries following the 2015-16 season, but BostonBruins.com reports they both skated Day 1 after the medical staff cleared them to do so Thursday.

“They both looked really good to me,” assistant coach Joe Sacco said, via BostonBruins.com. “You know, it’s early – obviously, they’re coming off some injuries. I’m not sure of the status, when they’re going to be back playing, all those things, but certainly think they’re off to a good start. Both made it through the practice today. They didn’t seem like they missed a beat out there to me. They were involved in everything, so I think their progression’s real good.”

The B’s will be right back at it Saturday at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston. Group B will practice at 10:45 a.m. ET, while Group A will take the ice at 12:45 p.m. Doors will open for the fans at 10:15 a.m.
