After an NFL Sunday full of players silently protesting during “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Monday night saw a continued effort to take a stand against social injustice in America.

San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick once again took a knee during the anthem, and was joined again by teammate Eric Reid. Two other 49ers players, Antoine Bethea and Eli Harold, raised their fists during the anthem, a common scene across the league during Week 1. They were joined on the opposite sideline by Los Angeles Rams players Kenny Britt and Robert Quinn.

One 49ers player opted to help hold the giant American flag on the field, though, a la New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola on Sunday night.
