Two top-ranked Atlantic Coast Conference rivals will clash Saturday night as the Louisville Cardinals visit the Clemson Tigers as 2-point road favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Louisville has rocketed to No. 3 on the AP Top 25 rankings with four lopsided victories and is unbeaten in its last six games heading into Saturday’s Cardinals vs. Tigers betting matchup at Memorial Stadium.

After handing Florida State one of its worst defeats in program history, a 63-20 shellacking as 1-point home underdogs, the Cardinals continued to roll last week, dominating Marshall in a 59-28 win and paying out as huge 30.5-point road chalk.

The No. 5 Tigers also remained undefeated on the year with a 26-7 win over Georgia Tech as 10.5-point road favorites and have surrendered just two touchdown passes and 11 points per game this season, pushing the point total UNDER in their past four outings.

Clemson has enjoyed success the past two seasons in matchups with the most recent addition to the ACC, posting narrow straight-up victories over the Cardinals but coming up short against the spread, including last September’s 20-17 win in Louisville as 5-point chalk.

Meanwhile, No. 12 Florida State returns home Saturday for a conference game against the North Carolina Tar Heels, pegged as an 11-point favorite. The Seminoles improved to 3-1 straight up and against the spread with last week’s 55-35 win at South Florida as 5-point chalk, but they have given up 34 or more points twice this season and in three of their past six games.

North Carolina is 3-0 SU since a 33-24 Week 1 loss to Georgia and erased a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to top Pittsburgh 37-36 last week but failed to cover as 6.5-point chalk. North Carolina claimed a 37-35 road win when these teams last met in 2010, with Florida State posting SU wins in eight of its previous nine clashes, according to the OddsShark College Football Database.

In other ACC action this weekend, No. 14 Miami visits the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets looking for a fourth consecutive SU win and favored by seven points. Opponents have scored fewer than 11 points per game against the Hurricanes this season, but Miami faces a Georgia Tech squad that has topped 35 points twice this season.

Meanwhile, the Boston College Eagles take another shot at posting consecutive wins for the first time since early last season as they host the Buffalo Bulls as 17.5-point favorites. And the Notre Dame Fighting Irish look to end a two-game SU and ATS slide when they battle the Syracuse Orange at MetLife Stadium as 10.5-point chalk.
