Don’t look now, but that Drew Pomeranz trade is looking pretty good for the Boston Red Sox.
The 27-year-old lefty settled down in August after a few hiccups in his first three starts with Boston. Starting on Aug. 4, Pomeranz owns a 2.70 ERA in his past six starts and is holding opposing batters to just a .230 batting average.
NESN’s Guerin Austin caught up Monday with Red Sox pitching coach Carl Willis, manager John Farrell and catcher Bryan Holaday to discuss what Pomeranz has been doing well of late.
