There figures to be no shortage of Jose Fernandez tributes at Marlins Park in Miami on Monday night.

The Marlins will try to play their first game since learning of the shocking death of their teammate in a boating accident in the early-morning hours Sunday.

Major League Baseball canceled Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Braves, but ultimately, the show must go on, which means the Marlins return to work Monday night against the New York Mets.

One of the presumed numerous tributes to Fernandez will include every member of the Marlins wearing the pitcher’s No. 16.

Teams across Major League Baseball honored Fernandez’s memory with moments of silence and various tributes Sunday. Some teams even hung custom Fernandez jerseys in their dugouts, and Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz requested the Tampa Bay Rays forego a planned celebration honoring the slugger prior to the DH’s final game at Tropicana Field.
