The New England Patriots are a rare home underdog against the Houston Texans as Week 3 of the NFL season begins with “Thursday Night Football” at Gillette Stadium.

Rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett is expected to start for the Patriots in place of the injured Jimmy Garoppolo and the suspended Tom Brady, which probably has a lot to do with the Texans being favored despite their lack of success in New England historically.

The Texans, though, enter this game at 2-0 with a very good defense and an offense bolstered by offseason additions such as quarterback Brock Osweiler, running back Lamar Miller and rookie wide receiver Will Fuller.

Here’s a roundup of how NFL experts are feeling about Patriots-Texans. Be sure to also check out NESN.com’s own picks for Week 3.
