The 2016 NFL season starts Thursday night when the Carolina Panthers visit the defending champion Denver Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl 50.
The opening game also represents the first chance voters have to begin analyzing which players are most deserving of the major NFL awards. The MVP award usually is the most intensely debated of the seven major honors, but who will win the others? We took our best guess, based on past and expected performance.
